Information concerning the processing of your personal data
Care and transparency form the basis for a trusting cooperation with our customers. We are therefore informing you of how we process your data for the organisation and performance of our corporate events and how you can exercise your rights.
1. What personal data do we use?
We process your personal data for the performance of the event.
For this purpose, we process the following categories of personal data: First name, surname, address, contact details (telephone, e-mail address) and, where appropriate, details on arrival, accompanying persons, length of stay.
2. Purpose and legal basis for data processing
Your personal data will only be processed for the purposes of performing and organising the corporate event. Insofar as you voluntarily participate in our event, the processing of your personal data relates to our legitimate interests in the performance and organisation of the corporate event. The legal basis is therefore point (f) of Article 6(1) GDPR.
3. To whom is your data transferred?
For the purposes of organisation and performance, your personal data may be disclosed to external service providers. If you use the link or QR code in the registration form to register, personal data will be processed by the operator of the event organisation portal, Salesforce AG, within the scope of contract processing.
4. Storage duration
We shall only store your personal data for as long as it is necessary for the organisation and performance of the corporate event. Should it no longer be necessary to store the data for the fulfilment of contractual or statutory obligations, your data will be erased unless the further processing is necessary for commercial or tax law retention obligations.
5. Your rights
We will be happy to inform you whether and which personal data is saved by us. Furthermore, under the relevant statutory provisions you also have the right to rectification pursuant to Article 16 GDPR, the right to restriction of processing pursuant to Article 18 GDPR, the right to erasure pursuant to Article 17 GDPR, the right to object pursuant to Article 21 GDPR and the right to data portability pursuant to Article 20 GDPR.
Without prejudice to these rights, you have a right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority if you consider that the processing of the personal data relating to you infringes upon data protection regulations (Article 77 GDPR).
In order to exercise your rights, you may contact the controller or the Data Protection Officer on the contact details provided. We shall process your enquiries immediately and in accordance with statutory provisions, and inform you of which measures we have taken.
6. Are you obliged to provide your personal data?
In order to be able to participate in the corporate event, you must provide the data requested. If you do not wish to participate, you are not obliged to provide us with the data.
7. Changes to this information
Should the purpose or the type and nature of processing of your personal data change, we shall update this information promptly and inform you of the changes promptly.
